Job Title: Youth Services Librarian
Part Time: 24 hours per week including some evening and alternating weekend shifts plus additional rotating Sunday shifts.
Beginning salary: $21.97/hr. DOQ.

Position Description
Helen Plum Library is seeking an enthusiastic MLIS Librarian to join our Youth Services team as a part-time librarian. This position includes a focus on digital trends and directions. The right candidate will be excited about incorporating technology and science in children’s programming. Creativity and initiative are essential! Responsibilities include: Providing reference and readers’ advisory service for children, managing an area of the Youth Services collection, and working collaboratively to develop and conduct programs for children and youth, including storytime rotations.
Required: ALA/MLIS degree and previous experience with youth in a library setting, strong computer skills, and a dedication to outstanding customer service.
