Voices of Vision Talking Books
Voices of Vision is sponsored by the Illinois State Library Talking Book & Braille Service and National Library Service for the Blind. This service offers a special cassette player and specially formatted cassettes through the mail free of charge. There is a new service available through BARD. Specially formatted audio books and magazines are available through this service. For more information visit https://nlsbard.loc.gov. One has to have an Email address with high speed internet, be an active talking book patron and have an authorized player to access downloadable items. A full set of instructions will be sent from Voices of Vision when you set up a BARD account.
