One-On-One Senior Medicare & Health Insurance (SHIP) Counseling

On the 2nd Tuesday of each month, a Senior Health Insurance Plan (SHIP) Counselor will be here to: provide information and answer questions about Medicare, Medicare Supplement, long term care insurance, Medicare HMOs, private fee-for-service and other health insurance; assist in filing Medicare and Medicare Supplement claims; and analyze Medicare Supplement and long term care policies. (SHIP) is a free counseling service provided by the Illinois Department on Aging.

Walk-ins will be seen if there are open times between appointments. Counseling is provided through a partnership between HPL and AIM Center for Independent Living.
