Homebound Services

Helen Plum Library cardholders of any age confined to their home, either permanently or temporarily, may receive Homebound Delivery Services. Your library card gives you complete access to books, large print books, books on CD and even DVDs. All materials are delivered to your door and picked up again when they are due. Your personal volunteer can help you make selections.

If you or someone you know could use this service, or you're considering becoming a Homebound Service Volunteer, please contact Karen Kee at the Helen Plum Library: 630.627.0316

This is a free service sponsored by the Helen Plum Library.

Interlibrary Loan

When you need an item the Helen Plum Library doesn't own, we will try to get it for you from another library. All you need is a current Helen Plum Library card. Contact either the Adult Services or Youth Services desks to request books, music, CDs, DVDs, magazines, articles, audiobooks, microform and more. We limit Interlibrary Loan requests to four items per week per cardholder.
