We are pleased to share that the Library has extended the expiration date of all resident library cards, in good standing, that expired or will expire between January 1, 2020 and September 30, 2021. The new expiration date is December 31, 2021.
We have made an exception to our standard three-year card renewal policy to ensure easier access to the wide range of print and digital materials, online resources, and amazing programs that we offer for the community. Patrons may also visit the Library’s Front Desk during our current service hours with an ID to renew their card for a full three-year term. For questions about your card or Library account, you may email accounts@helenplum.org or call us at (630) 627-0316.
Library services and hours are currently limited for the safety of our community and staff as we follow the statewide mitigations for limiting the spread of COVID-19. Please visit us online or follow us on social media where we will share updates as we are able to add back services and hours.
The library building is currently open:
Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday: 9am–4pm
Tuesday and Thursday: 1pm–8pm
We hope this action takes one thing off your to-do list during this difficult time, and we hope to see you for a visit soon!
Stay safe and healthy,
The Staff and Board of Helen Plum Library
