A 3D printer is a machine that builds physical objects from digital files that contain 3D information. Sometimes referred to as "additive manufacturing," a printer typically constructs an object by bonding layers of material together one layer at a time.
Helen Plum Library cardholders are invited to submit up to seven 3D print files per month to make physical objects with our Bambu Lab P1P 3D printers. Printers are staff-operated, and models must be printable in 90 minutes or less.

Digital scanning and VHS to DVD conversion stations are available by appointment to Helen Plum Library cardholders ages 18 and over.
Digital Scanner
Scan photos, slides, and negatives and save them to a DVD, CD, or flash drive. This service is available to Helen Plum cardholders age 18 and over. Bring your photos and a flash drive, CD-R, or DVD-R to your reservation.
VHS to DVD Conversion
Transfer VHS memories to DVD using our conversion equipment! Bring your VHS tapes and blank DVD-R discs to your reservation. In accordance with federal copyright laws, commercial and other copyrighted videos may not be converted using Library equipment.
TIP: When planning your time, remember that the recording takes the same length of time as the tape.

Helen Plum Library cardholders ages 18 and over can use our Recording Lab to record their podcast, voiceovers, or next hit single! Visit our booking page to schedule an appointment.
